Where oh where has our Auditus gone?

Our little blog is lonely; we were to have been three, but alas there are only two. Admittedly, two is a good number, and all manner of pairings speak to the benefit of dyads. Still, three we were supposed to be and the two of us wait for the third wheel of our discursive tricycle. I am calling you out, dear friend. Put finger to keyboard and join us. Life is better when speakers have auditors.

Grad School Woes

I second Thesaurus and am looking forward to this opportunity to write and share with one another our daily grind. The hassles and headaches of graduate school are quickly coming to the forefront for me and I often find myself looking for friends with whom I can disclose and trust (which, as you know, are a rare occurrence). Sadly, life has moved us in different directions (different states, cities, my own writing hibernation), but I believe this will be an easy way for us to keep in touch. Yay for blogging!

Today I sit at the library and write (as I so often do on Sundays) looking out the window at the snow. I wonder how long it will be until I leave this campus and move to a warmer climate. I have to be hopeful that it will be sooner rather than later...

Nomenclature

There is so much to a name and, admittedly, I may have missed the mark in scoring this one. Still, we wanted a place for the three of us to talk openly about our lives, our academic experiences, and overcoming the tyranny of distance between Colorado and Illinois. This blog, whatsoever it may be called, hopes to fill this role, and I look forward to receiving prose from you my dearest friends who reside one time zone and a few states away. Let me know if you have a better idea for a name, other readers (right now only the three of us can read and post to this blog), and how we might move forward and add to this vast swell of words. Much love to you all from the foot of these mountains--Thesaurus.
